i thought of trees and kids in pampangga, going up trees to pick up mangoes. now i don't know if the background scene even gives a feeling of "kapampangan"-ess, but whateverrr .  it's just so cool this is my first oil painting.and look closely, the view here is not really parallel to the ground, i dented the background landscape a little so as to show the swinging movement of the kid. i didnt write my signature at the bottom right just yet, i dont want it posted here anyway.. Materials: castell paper (sp?), oil paint, masking tape and illustration board. [i dont own an isel (sp?) so yeah, i improvised oh yeah!] date started/finished: May 21, 2009 - June 9,2009 |
